Sunday, February 11th – 6 p.m. – Valentine’s Dinner – Heppner Christian Church: Bring a date or come alone for a great Valentine’s Dinner of Prime Rib, Baked Potato, Tossed Green Salad, roll and Cheesecake for Dessert. There is no charge for the meal but donations will go for “Hope2Liberia”.

Tuesday, February 13th – 5-7 p.m. – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan Open House (Willow Creek Focus Area): This open house will be held in the Heppner City Hall Conference Room. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is developing a Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan to address the management of recreational, natural and cultural resources, specifically for Willow Creek. Come and get an update and be part of the discussion!

Wednesday, February 14th – 5-9 p.m. – Valentine’s Dinner at The Gateway Café: The Gateway Café will be serving a special Valentines “Steak and Seafood” dinner and Reservations are strongly recommended. You can also order off of the regular menu! Please call 541-676-6000 or text 541-980-2014 to reserve your seat – leave a message with your name, contact number, number of people and preferred time.
Thursday, February 15th – Willow Creek Valley Economic Development Group is hosting their Annual Luncheon form 12-1 p.m. in the Senior Center Dining Room: Gary Neal will be the speaker for this year’s annual luncheon, please RSVP no later than Tuesday, February 13th to guarantee a lunch. Lunch will be served by Alvin Liu of Gateway Café and the menu will consist of BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beans, Potato Salad and Dessert. Contact the Chamber at 541-676-5536 to RSVP.

Sunday, February 18th – 8 a.m. – Sweetheart’s Breakfast – Heppner Christian Church: Come out and enjoy a breakfast consisting of Pancakes, eggs, Bacon and great company. The breakfast is free.

Tuesday, March 6th – 10-11:30 a.m. -Walla Walla VA Medical Center Town Hall meeting: This Town Hall presentation on “VA Modernization – the next chapter in VA’s story of change will be held in the Irrigon Library and is for all Veterans and any interested community members. Morrow County transportation will be provided by “The Loop”. Call 844-676-5667 to secure a seat.

Friday, March 16 – Sunday, March 18 – 36th Annual “Wee Bit O’ Ireland St. Patrick’s Celebration: The St. Patrick’s Committee is busy planning this year’s event. If you are interested in volunteering for any part of the weekend, contact the Heppner Chamber at 541-676-5536. Come and find out how you can get involved and help to make our 36th year to be even better than our 35th! Father Condon’s play “Searching for Meaning” will be performed on Thursday, March 15th at 7 p.m. at the St. Patrick’s Parish Hall.
