Saturday, April 28th – 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – 5th Annual Walk “In Her Shoes” at the Riverfront Park in Hermiston: Walk in the shoes of a victim of domestic or sexual violence. What barriers would you face? What decisions would you make? Register online at “dvs-or.org” or call 541-276-3322 for more information. Registration is $15 per person and raffle tickets are available for $1 each o $5 for 6. Register now!

Wednesday, May 2nd – Wednesday, May 23rd – Crisis Line Training through Domestic Violence Services, Inc.: When completed with the training, you will be able to answer calls on our 24-Hour Crisis Line and have the opportunity to advocate for victims of domestic and sexual violence. Thursday, May 3rd – 6 pm. – Boy Scout Benefit Dinner – Heppner Elks Lodge: Come out and support the Boy Scouts and enjoy a great dinner of Spaghetti, Salad and Dessert for $10 per person.

Friday, May 4th – 4-7 p.m.: Spring Fest 2018 – Flower Basket Sale in the Bank of Eastern Oregon parking lot in Arlington: Paradise Rose Chuckwagon will be providing Pulled Pork Sandwich Meals and To-Go Boxes; there will be live music by Dan Robinson and a “goodie” sale at the wagon. Every dollar raised goes to help build The Woolery.

Saturday, May 5th – 1 p.m. at the County Road Department in Lexington on Hwy 74 and 4 p.m. at Riverside High School in Boardman, the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a safety event and a BMX show featuring Robert Castillo’s BMX Freestyle Team: This event is free to the public and there will be hotdogs and beverages for everyone to enjoy. There will also be a bike raffle, free helmets and fittings, a bike safety course and boating, 4 wheeler and fire safety information. Come join us for a fun event filled with an amazing show, prizes and great information.

Saturday, May 12th – 9 a.m. The Woolery Open – China Creek Golf Course: The event is a 4 and 2 Person Scramble; the cost is $35 per person; $5 Mulligans or 5 Mulligans for $20. Putt Pot – $5 for 3 balls. There will be great prizes and a BBQ lunch included. The Winner gets 80% of pot; no ties – sudden death Putt-off Elimination. Event Benefits The Woolery Project.
